Mission

Experience OBX is dedicated to preserving the beauty and character of the Outer Banks by educating visitors on the history, culture and ecology of the unique barrier islands while raising funds for the non profit organizations that devote themselves to do the same. 

Experience OBX helps support the Outer Banks community by providing the opportunity for local organizations, individuals and businesses to participate and raise funds for their products, services and causes. 

Experience OBX strives to be the one place where visitors can truly ”experience the Outer Banks” by sampling local cuisine, enjoying island entertainment, hearing presentations and shopping local vendors, something many miss when they take their beach vacation.
